Q: What makes your business unique? Very few independently owned shoe stores like ours exist. We feature fashion and comfort European brands of shoes that cater to a variety of foot issues, including those with bunions, wide feet, and those who need extra arch support. Our focus is on providing both style and comfort to our customers.
Q: Why/How did you start your business? Plum Bottom has been our family business since 1977. When my father passed away in 2015, my business partner Andrea Mason and I picked up the reins and continued to grow the business. We are passionate about continuing the legacy and providing exceptional footwear options to our community.
Q: How do you define success?
We define success not by the number of items sold, but by the satisfaction of our customers. Our goal is never to "sell something" but to help customers find the perfect shoes that meet their needs and make them feel great. Success, to us, is when a customer walks out of our store with a smile and a newfound confidence.

We are motivated by the joy of introducing our products to new customers and the opportunity to make a positive impact on their lives. With over 46 years in business, there are still so many people who have not yet discovered our stores or website. We are driven to find innovative ways to reach them and share the exceptional quality and comfort that Plum Bottom offers.
