Located in Carlisle Pennsylvania, West Pomfret Street, also known as the "So-Hi Arts District" is jam-packed with art, chocolate, wine, boutique and gift shopping, food and more. West Pomfret Street's merchant community supports each other through a co-op initiative called "Shop the Block" and hosts several major events throughout the year.
The tree lined street with vibrant, colorful buildings is hard to miss. Pat Craig Studios and The Penny Gallery at The Pond stands out as the the most colorful in the neighborhood. We're going to take you on a journey of all the goodness that makes up West Pomfret Street.
.Pat Craig Studios offers fine custom picture framing, a selection ranging from novelty mugs to rattle socks for babies, journals to handbags, hand blown glass balls to fragrance oils, ark discs and handcrafted jewelry made by Pat herself. Pat Craig Studios is the area’s exclusive Old World Christmas ornament dealer and offer you hundreds of unique, beautiful hand-blown glass ornaments that represent occupations, hobbies, halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas.

In 2017, Pat Craig opened The Pond, The Pond is an artist collective, retail shop, and art gallery next to Pat Craig Studios.
The Pond currently is home to artists working from their individual studios in various mediums, in one of Carlisle's oldest buildings.

The Penny Gallery at The Pond features group art exhibits of all sorts. They offer affordable public exhibit space for artists to host their own show. For more information, call 717-245-0382
Castlerigg Wine Shop is the Shop the Block resident retailer of Pennsylvania wines. They are located in a renovated 1890's Queen Anne Victorian building. The wine shop has a tasting room, cozy front porch and retails wine related merchandise. Light appetizers and desserts are offered in addition to special events like,live entertainment.

Exhibitions: Opportunities for local and regional artists to exhibit their work in CALC’s gallery, sales gallery, and off-site locations throughout Carlisle.
Art on the Farm: A partnership with Pennsylvania Association for Sustainable Agriculture to showcase Central Pennsylvania’s unique agricultural resources through art, education and food.
Scholarships: CALC provides financial aid to assure all children and adults have access to art classes and camps.
