From Hershey, Harrisburg, Lebanon and York, these entrepreneurs are the best at what they do. I'm talking handcrafted, onsite goodness. I recommend a stroll through their websites and social media to see all that they offer through Valentine's Day and throughout the year.

More than two dozen, small batch, artisan chocolates are handcrafted in their shop just a few miles from Hershey Park. You'll also find retro candy along with chocolate covered bacon, gluten and sugar free offerings and gift baskets at the Hummelstown location as well as their Farmstead Farmers Market location.

Miesse Candies

Founded in 1875, Miesse Candies and ice cream parlor uses all natural ingredients. Miesse Candies does things the old fashioned way by hand dipping their chocolate covered fruits and nuts and even serving ice cream from an antique soda fountain. You'll find them at the water street location and at the Lancaster Central Market, the oldest, continuous running public farmers market in the country.

Opened in 1931, Opera fudge originated at Wertz Candies in Lebanon, PA. and is one of two places nationally known for making Opera Fudge. No one knows exactly where the name came from but there did used to be an opera house across the street in the late 1800's.
